Students were encouraged to create patterns using Hopscotch.  They were encouraged to watch my lesson on Youtube the night before.  Here’s a sample of what they created.  After creating the pattern with Hopscotch, students went to ExplainEverything to explain their pattern.  Students are always happy during this time.
